Eponym is a compilation of research, process, plans, rejected ideas and outcomes of an ongoing project of the same name.

Eponym aims to question the hierarchical relationship between object and subject emphasised through the act of naming inanimate things. Abstracted versions of everyday objects and pieces of furniture are created through a process of obsession, dissection and fetishisation. By weaving together, the functional and typographic language of an object through systematic codes and non-deterministic methods the object is reformed, separated from its preconceived name and function and, finally, granted agency.

The process involved in making these objects is documented in a collection of printed outcomes that are intended to be fetishised over as were the pieces within.
